The European project Certiflight has held in Bucharest (Romania) the third and last meeting of its Advisory Board, a key meeting that brought together project partners and industry experts to analyze the progress made and define the next steps before the end of the first phase of development.
The meeting, held at the National Institute for Aerospace Research “Elie Carafoli” (INCAS), reviewed the results of the validation campaign conducted in late 2024 and early 2025, and assessed the opportunities that Certiflight technology can offer the market. During the day, participants discussed the regulatory challenges, the integration of technology in the aeronautical sector and its impact on flight certification, fundamental aspects for the implementation of the system developed by Certiflight.
One of the key points of the meeting was the importance of collaboration between the different players in the sector to ensure that the solution proposed by Certiflight responds to the real needs of the market. In addition, the role of communication and dissemination in the dissemination of the project and in raising awareness of the benefits of its technology has been highlighted.
